The Direct Digital Manufacturing Laboratory is currently seeking to fill several open Ph.D. and post-doctoral positions. We are looking for highly motivated candidates who have hands-on multidisciplinary skills in the following areas:

  • Nanoscience, Nanotechnology, and Nanofabrication
  • Photochemistry and Photopolymerization
  • Optics and Optomechanics
  • Maskless and Non-conventional Lithography
  • Lasers and Laser Materials Processing
  • High-temperature Aerospace Materials
  • Metallurgy and Solidification of Nickel-based Superalloys
  • Biomaterials for Tissue Engineering, Regenerative Medicine, and Drug Delivery
  • Additive Manufacturing and Direct Digital Manufacturing
  • Precision Machine Design
  • Computational geometry
Candidates must possess excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills. Candidates must be team-players and demonstrate their willingness and ability to work as part of a university-industry team.
